yeah everything seems to be pointing to in being the piston rings cause the turbos still spool very nicely. how much would you guess it would cost to replace the piston rings? i know it would be very labor intensive. i got a great deal on the car and am willing to do whatever to make it run good. im still learning so any help would be greatly appreciated.

thanks
